Brandon Real Estate Information

Nestled along the I-75 corridor just south of the interstate’s interchange with the east-west headed I-4, Brandon is home to more than 90,000 residents who enjoy simple but comfortable suburban lifestyles on the edge of Tampa. Bounded by the I-75, Valrico to the east, Riverview to the south, and Seffner to the north, Brandon is in the midst of a complex and dynamic area that has experienced significant growth and development throughout the past several years. Several prime pieces of real estate have recently been transformed in beautifully-appointed homes. Residents often take advantage of the Hillsboroguh Area Regional Transit bus line that operates services locally within the community and also express services into downtown Tampa and other significant places in the greater Tampa area.

Known as one of Tampa’s premier bedroom communities, Brandon features a very unique, homely environment that is family-friendly and upholds several values and morals that have seemingly been lost in today’s modern society. Beef O’Brady’s, a family-oriented bar and grill chain restaurant that has spread across southeastern United States, was born in Brandon on the very same principles that have been kept alive in town today.

Westfield Brandon is the community’s flagship shopping plaza and community gathering point. The center features a number of restaurants, including Starbucks, The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and a food court that offers a number of express and take-out options. More importantly, a number of high-end or national brand retailers, flagshipped by a large Macy’s store, also have stores to serve the local residents and those residents from areas in the surrounding areas, including Apple Store, Bakers, bebe, Books-A-Million, Cache, Clark's, Coldwater Creek, Dick's Sporting Goods, Fossil, Lucky Brand Jeans, Mixx, Sephora, Quiksilver, Tilly's, Torrid, The Walking Company, and White House/Black Market. For residents who choose not to use Westfield Brandon, the Brandon Crossings Shopping Center and Regency Square Mall are nearby and convenient alternatives.

The Hillsborough County Public School District serves the students of Brandon by providing award-winning educational opportunities through several local campuses. Brandon High School, the flagship of the local educational system, was established in 1914 and was the second campuses to be built in the district. Today, more than twenty-three high school campuses are situated in the county. Brandon High School is joined by three middle schools and five elementary schools.
